SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board

The next SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board meeting will be held in conjunction with the SWE Regional Conference in Pasadena, CA on January 25, 2008.

What is the SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board and what do they DO?

• The SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board is comprised of Company Representatives who advise on SWE-LA Programming and Events, including Conferences, Technical Tours, Company Info Sessions, and other Career and Professional Development opportunities.
• The SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board advises SWE-LA on our University Student Programs, such as Student Leadership Summits and the SWE-LA Scholarship Program that supports student engineers from USC, UCLA, Cal Tech, LMU, Harvey Mudd, and Cal State Universities.
• The SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board advises on SWE-LA K-12 Career Guidance Programs, such as E-Week, Girl Scout Programs, the NASA Campership Program, our SWE-LA Essay Contest and Engineering Certificate of Merit Programs.
• The SWE-LA Corporate Advisory Board also assists SWE-LA in the planning of joint events with partner organizations, such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Aerospace Professionals.
