SWE, SHPE, NSBE and SOAP are proud to present the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Professional Development Conference. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend Keynote Breakfast and Keynote Luncheon events with inspirational speakers from Industry, as well as attend workshops on the track topics of Technical Development, Professional Development and Diversity throughout the day.

The one-day conference promises to provide insight and opportunities for professionals at all levels. We would like to also extend an invitation to college students in the area, as many of the workshops this year will be able to provide them with insight and wisdom on professional development as entry-level engineers and technical professionals. This year’s conference will prove to be an excellent opportunity for all attendees to network and expand on their professional skills. SWE, NSBE and SHPE are looking forward to interacting with all the areas engineering and technical professionals and corporate affiliates.

Registration

Registration can be done online (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=750653781282) . After filling out the online registration you will receive an email invoice that will allow you to pay through PayPal or you may bring a check, cash or money order and pay at the event. Advance registration prices are valid as long as online registration is completed prior to 4pm Thursday, June 7th.

Cost

Advance Full Corporate Registration – $700 for 8 registrants (includes Corporate Sponsorship Recognition, reserved Breakfast and Luncheon Table, and ¼ Page Program Advertisement)

Half Corporate Registration - $350 for 4 registrants (recommended for small companies)

Advance Individual Registration - $70 per person before June 7th

Advance Volunteers, Students, Retirees Registration - $50 per person

On-Site Registration maybe available if space permits at the cost of $80 per person, payable by check or cash only.

 

Confirmations

Confirmations and invoices will be e-mailed to the address provided on your Registration Form after receipt of your registration.

 

Check-In

Conference registration will be held in the Crowne Plaza Foyer. Upon arrival, please stop by the registration desk to receive your name badge and other conference materials. Registration will be open at 7:30 AM.

If space is available, we will accept onsite registration at a cost of $80 per individual. Bring payment in the form of cash, check or money order to the hotel, no credit cards will be accepted

Refunds

Refund requests must have been made prior to June 9th. “No-shows” are responsible for full conference payment.

 

Substitution

If you are unable to attend the conference and have already registered, you may designate another person to take your place. Complete a registration form for the new attendee and indicate the name of the individual that is being replaced.

 

Registrant List

Approximately one week before the conference all registered attendees will receive an e-mail providing a link to the registrant list. The roster will also be updated approximately one week after the conference.

Registration lists are provided as a service for conference attendees, offering a convenient way to network with colleagues. The data provided in these lists may not be harvested, sold to others, incorporated into any type of database, used to generate mailing lists or employed for any promotional purpose.

 

Dress

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. Since meeting room temperatures vary, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.
